Hello, This is my maths presentation and it's all about money. All I did in this presentation was put the right amount of money in the slide. I really enjoyed doing this presentation because it was really nice and easy and I think in the future this could help me with my maths.

2015 Reflection

Hi, This is my blog post about my reflection about 2015, I feel so happy that I came to Pt England school and what I feel about being a year 7 is awesome because I am a future year 8 and I have had so much fun with team 5 and going on so many trips. What I didn't like about this year was getting in trouble. What I found difficult about this year was solving some of my maths problems and finding the answers and I found it difficult to finish my work on time. If I could grade myself for being awesome from 10-10 I would chose 8-10 because I have been awesome a lot but sometimes I get in trouble but I do finish my work in time. The fundraisers that we did this year was cake stalls to help netball girls pay their fees, we had a garage sale for the year 8 camp and we did lots of other fundraisers. For 2016 What I would change about myself is participating  in more sports and other stuff for next year because it will be my last year at Pt England school.For next year I want my teacher to know how smart I am and how I solve my problems. For next year I would want more help with my maths. I would show my teachers how I work things out.

If you watch this video this video has lots of steps that you could follow. When I started making my logo it was hard and from reading these instructions I now know how to make my own personal logo and what to change.So I hope when you watch this you will know how to make a personal logo and what a personal logo is.

Personal Logos

Intro: A personal logo is a logo that represents someone, their culture and is designed by themselves.

First, brainstorm ideas that would look cool on a logo. If no ideas come up then choose your favourite things.

Secondly, once you've found  some ideas draw them on a piece of paper and draw them as a thumbnail concept.A thumbnail concept is a drawing which is the same size as your thumbnail. Thirdly, use 2 of the best drawings and put them on Hyperstudio to trace.Be as neat as possible.

Lastly, Once the logos have been finished and drawn on Hyperstudio you print it. The reason why you need to print it is to see how it looks on paper and to see if there should be any changes.

Conclusion: If the logo doesn't need any changes then think of what that logo could be used for like it could be used for T-shirts, mugs or campaigning.

This is my reading progress I think I am on orange because I haven't been finishing my work.I think I moved down because I am still working on my same work for the past few weeks.What I need to do to move back up is finish my work at school and at home.

Groceries Store Mistakes

Today Mrs Moala's friend went to Australia and posted a picture this week. My maths class and I had figured out that the store in Australia has gave the wrong prices to the customers. The first mistake that they gave was Any 2 for $5 and the last one was when they wrote down Hass Avocado offer Country of origin Australian grown. Here is a picture of Groceries of mistakes and here is a picture that it should look like.

Ratio Practice

This is what I did for maths in Mrs Moala's class it's my Ratio Practice.To me this assessment was easy to do for example on slide 5 all you had to do was count what the ratio of red to green and the answer is 4:3.

Spend,Share,Save

                                  

A spending goal is saving your things on something you want.                                It is important for you to set spending goals because some people waste all their money on lollies and other junk when they should save it for school fees or net ball fees or other things that are way more important. If you are saving your money and you need to put it in a save place it is best to put it in a piggy bank or in the bank.

Reality Trip

Today room 4 watched a t.v show about 5 New Zealanders who went to philippino.They thought they were doing fun things but what they did was doing really hard work which took them an hour to do then the next day they will do a full shift which will take more than an hour.When they were working they had to do 300 units in 1 hour and the girls did more then the boys.What I found shoking was how they didn't have a choice to go anywhere else or do anything else.What I also found shoking was how they had no break,they couldn't talk and they had to do it the next day as well.

Making Change

Today for maths today I was working on my making change.What I had to do for my making change was to make $68.20 in 5 different ways.

Maths progress 3

For my maths progress I think I am at blue right now because I can solve problems different ways and I can find the best answer and why that is the best answer. I am working well with my group for maths I talk to them when I'm not sure of any questions and I help them even when I'm not sure what the answer is.What I think I need to work on to get on purple is to finish all my work before I get on Maths Whizz or on Matific.

What makes a good citizen

Today we had miss Kyla for maths and what we did with miss Kyla is talk about Digizen.We got to make a google drawing about what digizen means.This is my google drawing on top.

Reading Progress 2

I think I am on green because I have been finishing my work and doing the best I can to finish it.I make shore to ask for help when I need it the most or to read the story over and over until I get the answer.My next step is to be on blue and to be on blue I will have to work hard to get the answer and to finish my work on time or if I haven't finished and can finish it off at home.
