Four Four's Challenge

Hello Bloggers, Our task for maths was to make this Four Four's Challenge. In this presentation it has a bit of a challenge in it. Firstly we had to get a dice and roll it 4 times and put the number in a box. Then we had to try add those numbers up and try reach it to the target. On the first slide my target was 12 and the numbers I got were 4, 7, 9, 5. If you look at the slide it will show my working out but, I did not quite reach 12, I got 11 which was close to the target. I really like this presentation because it was a cool warm up to get the day ready for maths.

Maths test

Hello bloggers, This term team 5 has been preparing for our upcoming events which was our tests. This morning team 5 had just completed their maths test. As team 5 were preparing for the test my class solved some equations before the test started so we can get pumped up and ready to start confidently. 3,2,1 press start came out of the teachers mouth and all I could hear were students typing non stop. I couldn't stop moving, I skipped a lot of slides because I didn't want to waste my time staying on the same page. I could feel my heart pumping and my nerves coming because I didn't really understand some of the questions. 5 more minutes to go and all I needed to do was cheek my answers. Once I have cheeked my answer I was happy with what I've done and I was finally finished. When the test was over I felt proud of myself and everyone else because even if we got it wrong at least we tried.

Algebra Variables

Kia Ora, This is the first day of school in term 4. In Maths we learnt about Algebra but not just any Algebra we're learning about Algebra Variables. The meaning of variables is changes which is our focus for the rest of the year ch ch ch ch changes. Hello, This is my maths presentation and it's all about money. All I did in this presentation was put the right amount of money in the slide. I really enjoyed doing this presentation because it was really nice and easy and I think in the future this could help me with my maths.

Groceries Store Mistakes

Today Mrs Moala's friend went to Australia and posted a picture this week. My maths class and I had figured out that the store in Australia has gave the wrong prices to the customers. The first mistake that they gave was Any 2 for $5 and the last one was when they wrote down Hass Avocado offer Country of origin Australian grown. Ratio Practice

This is what I did for maths in Mrs Moala's class it's my Ratio Practice.To me this assessment was easy to do for example on slide 5 all you had to do was count what the ratio of red to green and the answer is 4:3.

Making Change

Today for maths today I was working on my making change.What I had to do for my making change was to make $68.20 in 5 different ways.

Maths progress 3

For my maths progress I think I am at blue right now because I can solve problems different ways and I can find the best answer and why that is the best answer. I am working well with my group for maths I talk to them when I'm not sure of any questions and I help them even when I'm not sure what the answer is.What I think I need to work on to get on purple is to finish all my work before I get on Maths Whizz or on Matific.

What makes a good citizen

Today we had miss Kyla for maths and what we did with miss Kyla is talk about Digizen.We got to make a google drawing about what digizen means.This is my google drawing on top.

Maths progress 2

In maths I think I have improved a lot because I have been finishing my work on time and figuring out different ways to solve the problem.I ask my group for a lot of help when I am not shore of how to get to the answer.My next step is to work harder to be on blue.What I think I need to work on to get to blue is to boost my confidence into presenting in front of my maths class.
