Rust poster

Task: This week we have been learning about rust. So this morning we got given the opportunity to create a poster about rust.

This week in literacy my literacy group has been working on this presentation which is about this boy and his mother who are very poor and they live in a car. In the end of the story one of the teachers from the boys school helped him and his mother out. I really like this story because it can encourage people to help out others in life and it can make a big difference in their life. In this presentation I have a lot of facts about the story. Talking points reflection

In literacy we are working on statements. The whole class was split into 2 groups so we could go around in a circle and give everyone in the group what we think about the statement. I enjoyed talking to my group because I had a lot of great ideas and they agreed with me and it was also funny because we had some people disagreeing with each other. This poster is all about the talk and how I felt and what it looked like.

Today in my literacy class we had to finish this brainstorm from yesterday. This brainstorm is about the journal my group read which is called the Journey. The Journey is about these people who were on a land and some of their family members got killed by the carved face warriors. They ended up escaping the land and ened up in a new and peaceful island.

Inference

Inference

Hello, This week for literacy we have been doing inferences. In this presentation there is a story about a girl named amber who wanted a haircut just like Meg Ryans but the hair stylist didn't know how to do Ambers hair so Amber ended up with a really bad haircut for the summer.

Hello, My literacy group had to read this story about a 12 year old student named Amber wanted to get a haircut just like Meg Ryan but instead she got a really bad haircut. The hair stylist didn't know how to do Amber's hair so instead she gave Amber short and layered haircut. 

 

2015 Reflection

Hi, This is my blog post about my reflection about 2015, I feel so happy that I came to Pt England school and what I feel about being a year 7 is awesome because I am a future year 8 and I have had so much fun with team 5 and going on so many trips. What I didn't like about this year was getting in trouble. What I found difficult about this year was solving some of my maths problems and finding the answers and I found it difficult to finish my work on time. If I could grade myself for being awesome from 10-10 I would chose 8-10 because I have been awesome a lot but sometimes I get in trouble but I do finish my work in time. The fundraisers that we did this year was cake stalls to help netball girls pay their fees, we had a garage sale for the year 8 camp and we did lots of other fundraisers. For 2016 What I would change about myself is participating  in more sports and other stuff for next year because it will be my last year at Pt England school.For next year I want my teacher to know how smart I am and how I solve my problems. For next year I would want more help with my maths. I would show my teachers how I work things out.

Reading

For reading today I am on orange because I talk a lot and I don't do my work or ask for help when I need it. I also talk to my friends a lot in maths and writing but I still get a little bit of my work done.

I will try my very best to do my finish my work and to ask for help when I need it. I will go to my friends if I have finished my work or go to them when I need help.
