Geometry

Today in literacy I finished this presentation which is about Geometry. I enjoyed learning about Geometry  and learning about the different shapes and sizes. Athletics

On the 13th of October it was athletics day for Pt England school. Pt England school had 4 different teams and they aren Hinemoana, Hokule’a, Te Aurere, and Hikianalia.

My favourite activity from athletics was the relays because my team worked really well together and we helped each other and cheered for each other as we went. The activity I found challenging was the sprints and the tagger war.I found tagger war hard easy in the first 2 rounds but when we versed Hikianalia and Te Aurere they were really hard to beat because they we strong and they worked together as a team to win.

Finally after all that running and doing the activities it was lunch time and we finally had some rest and had something to eat. As soon as the bell rang it was time to go back to have some more fun at athletics.It was time to do high jump and I really enjoyed high jump because all we did was have fun while jumping on the mat and enjoying athletics while we can.

When athletics was over I couldn’t stop thinking about how much fun everyone had. What I enjoyed about athletics was working as a team with the year 7 girls, participating in the activities, I also enjoy myself and I enjoyed having fun at athletics and I enjoy being a year 7.

A time when losing something.

First, at the beginning of the year I got my new uniform along with my new school hat. On the first day of school it was really sunny so I had to wear my hat if I wanted to play outside in the sun. A few weeks later I lost my hat and I tried to look for it but it was lost and I gave up looking for it.

The season went past and it was winter so I didn’t need my hat anymore. When I lost my hat I felt disappointed because my mum might waste her money on buying me a new hat.

It’s finally term 4 and it’s nearly summer. We had an Immersion Assembly and that is when the teachers mentioned bringing our hats back to school. I tried looking for my hat again at school and I finally found my hat it was in our green room. I found my hat in a big pile of clothes in the green room so now and am happy that I found my hat because now I can play out in the sun.

Now that I found my new hat I will try my best to look after it and try to find a safe place to put it.

Ronald Mac Donald

On July the 9th there was a little girl named Rosie who had a very special birthday turning 6 years old.She wanted a very special guest to come to her party which was Ronald Mac Donald.She was so happy that Ronald could make it to her party but the only thing she didn’t know about Ronald was that he likes cake so much that he steels cake.The little girl took lots of selfies with Ronald and it was finally time to light the candles and it was time for the little girl to make a wish.But out of no where Ronald started running to the girl and before she could even make a wish Ronald blew the candles and stole the cake.Ronald ran as fast as he can with the cake but he could not run that fast because of his clown outfit and it made him a bit slow to run.The girls parents called the cops and as soon as he got out of Mac Donald's the cops were there to arrest him.Before Ronald could even do anything he tipped the cake on his face and as soon as he had cake on his face he licked his hole face until it was clean.He got arrested from stealing the cake and the little girl told him if he wants to get out of jail he has to buy he has to buy the little girl cake for all her birthdays until she turns 21 years old. Maths progress 2

In maths I think I have improved a lot because I have been finishing my work on time and figuring out different ways to solve the problem.I ask my group for a lot of help when I am not shore of how to get to the answer.My next step is to work harder to be on blue.What I think I need to work on to get to blue is to boost my confidence into presenting in front of my maths class.

World War 1

What me and my group did for the last few weeks we made a movie about world war 1.It was about 2 brothers who joined the first world war 1 Their names were George and Peter.The 2 brothers travelled and travelled along with other men until they got to war.The 2 brothers fought and fought until 1 of them got shot which was peter.

George went home and told his mother the bad news.His mother was so excited to see if her sons. As soon as she saw George she asked him where's Peter.George told his mother that he got shot by the Germans and he took him and his mother home.So that is what my group and I came up with for world war 1.
